The Santa Clara multinational established the presence in the country back to 1974. During the past decade, Intel had exported $50 billion goods and services, and this year the annual summary shows good results. Indeed, the company exported $3,6 billion: a rise of 9% compared to the last year.\nAdditionally, Intel purchased $15,3 billion Mobileye last August.\u00a0\u00ab\u00a02017 was an exceptional year\u00a0\u00bb  Yaniv Garty CEO of the Intel&#8217;s operations in Israel said. The CEO added that 2017 saw Israel turning into \u00ab\u00a0global center for autonomous cars\u00a0\u00bb in a statement on the 5th of February.\nFor the whole world, the company achieved $17.05 billion in sales, an annual growth of 4.1%. \u00ab\u00a02017 was a record year for Intel with record fourth-quarter results driven by strong growth in our data-centric buisness\u00bb said Brian Kraznich, Intel CEO, in a statement.\nAs a reminder, the Intel Company is now employing 11,000 people in the local team in Israel.
