The Egyptians have now informed me that Hamas and other groups in Gaza have also agreed.\n\n    \n  \n\n\n  \n    \n      \nIn my conversation with President [Prime Minister] Netanyahu, I congratulated him on his decision to end the current hostilities in less than 11 days. I have also underlined what I have said throughout this conflict: The United States fully supports Israel&#8217;s right to defend itself against indiscriminate rocket fire from Hamas and other Gaza-based terrorist groups that claimed the lives of innocent civilians in Israel.\n\n    \n  \n\n\n  \n    \n      \nThe Prime Minister also expressed to me his gratitude for the Iron Dome system, which our nations have developed together and which has saved the lives of countless Israeli citizens, both Arabs and Jews. I assured him of my full support in resupplying Israel&#8217;s Iron Dome to ensure its future defense and security.\n\n    \n  \n\n\n  \n    \n      \nIn the past eleven days, I have spoken to the Prime Minister six times.
