The Algerian foreign minister stressed “having discussed with Blinken the prospects for developing bilateral relations between Algeria and the United States”. And Lamamra added, “We have also looked in depth at a number of regional and international challenges.\n\n \n \n\n\n \n \n \n” The Washington embassy in Algeria said in a statement posted on its Facebook page that Blinken “discussed with Lamamra a number of regional issues, including the latest developments in Tunisia, Libya and the Sahel”. The statement stressed that Lamamra and Blinken “agreed on the need for Libya to regain its sovereignty, stability and unity, without foreign interference”. \n\n \n \n\n\n \n \n \nThe head of the American diplomacy renewed the commitment of his country to help Algeria to fight against the pandemic of the covid-19, through a donation of vaccines, a direct emergency aid of more than 4 million dollars as well as the delivery of a field hospital \u201d. \n\n \n \n\n\n \n \n \nThe Algerian Minister of Foreign Affairs had made an African tour a few days ago which had taken him to Tunisia, Ethiopia, Sudan and Egypt, to end it again with a visit to Tunisia, where he had transmitted a message oral speech by President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, addressed to his Tunisian counterpart, Ka\u00efs Sa\u00efed. The Algerian President had made a telephone interview at the beginning of August with Ka\u00efs Sa\u00efed, who assured him on this occasion that \n\n \n \n\n\n \n \n \n“Tunisia is on the right track to consolidate democracy and pluralism and that important decisions will be taken soon”.
