The surge in the cumulative amount of investments must nevertheless be interpreted with caution.\n\n \n \n\n\n \n \n \nIndeed, apart from one investment project of an exceptionally high amount (950 M TND), the investments related to the 22 other declared projects recorded an increase of about 17%, from 1 391 M TND over the three first quarters of 2021 to 1,633 M TND over the first three quarters of 2022.\n\n \n \n\n\n \n \n \nAt the same time, the creation of job positions, on the other hand, fell sharply by 32%, from 8,216 to 5,617 jobs created. 14 of the 22 projects declared during the first nine months of 2022 are creation operations representing a total envelope of 1,079.5 M TND.\n\n \n \n\n\n \n \n \nThe 8 other projects are extension operations and represent an amount of 553.5 M TND. In terms of distribution by sector of activity, we observe that more than half of the projects recorded relate to industry, an area which absorbs 852.7 M TND and represents 4,643 jobs created.\n\n \n \n\n\n \n \n \nAmong these industrial projects, 53% concern the field of mechanical and electrical industries.\n\n \n \n\n\n \n \n \nIn addition, 12 projects operate under the totally exporting regime for a cumulative amount of 689.65 M TND, and 27% of the investment projects declared are located in the regional development zones with an envelope of 490.7 M TND allowing the creation of 1,413 jobs.\n\n \n \n\n\n \n \n \nSource : Embassy of France in Tunisia\n\n \n \n\n","author":15,"featured_media":37931,"comment_status":"open","ping_status":"closed","template":"","tags":[5766,5798,5815,5818],"location":[5587],"class_list":["post-40844","news","type-news","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","tag-economic-analysis","tag-electricity","tag-industry","tag-investment","location-tunisia"],"short_url":"https:\/\/bit.ly\/3zWkDVQ","have_related_news":"done","chapo":"Investments declared to the Tunisia Investment Authority (TIA) increased by 86% in the first nine months of 2022.
