{"id":41561,"date":"2023-01-14T07:00:00","date_gmt":"2023-01-14T05:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ecomnewsmed.com\/?post_type=news&#038;p=41561"},"modified":"2023-01-09T18:51:18","modified_gmt":"2023-01-09T16:51:18","slug":"egypt-obtains-306-million-in-financing-for-the-implementation-of-the-first-phase-of-cairo-metro-line-4","status":"publish","type":"news","link":"https:\/\/www.ecomnewsmed.com\/en\/2023\/01\/14\/egypt-obtains-306-million-in-financing-for-the-implementation-of-the-first-phase-of-cairo-metro-line-4\/","title":{"rendered":"Egypt obtains $306 million in financing for the implementation of the first phase of Cairo metro line 4"},"content":"\n  \n    \n      \nThe Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) has granted Egypt 41 billion yen ($306 million) in funding for the implementation of the first phase of Line 4 of the Cairo Metro, announced the Egyptian Ministry of International Cooperation in a press release published on Tuesday 27 December.\n\n    \n  \n\n\n  \n    \n      \n&#8220;The funding will be used to support the efforts of the State in the field of the promotion of sustainable urban mobility and the development of means of transport capable of relieving congestion in the city of Cairo&#8221;, underlined the ministry.\n\n    \n  \n\n\n  \n    \n      \nThe first phase of Cairo Metro&#8217;s fourth line is 19 kilometers long and includes 16 stations connecting downtown Cairo to the Giza pyramids and the Grand Egyptian Museum.\n\n    \n  \n\n\n  \n    \n      \nThe second phase of this same line will be developed later.
