After the enquiry led by the HCP (High Commissioner of the Plan) and the MCS (Moroccan Consumer Survey), the general consumer mood in the kingdom is more positive than the last period.
The national index rose up to 85.8 points compared to 78.2 points over the last quarter and to 75.7 points from the same quarter of last year.
Globally the Moroccan inhabitants are thinking for 40% of them that their standards of life have shrunk. Comparatively 32% of the Moroccan are considering that they have upgraded their standards of life.
During the 2nd quarter of 2017 almost 70% households were predicting unemployment deterioration compared to the actual period of time where only 15% of them were thinking in that way.
However the general perception of the economical situation of the Moroccan kingdom is quite optimistic. After the HCP, over the last 12 months almost 35% of them expect a better economical situation for their respective household.
