Pascal Cagni, the ex Apple’s vice president have been nominated to represent the prestigious French Institution. The 2nd director of Business France is Christophe Lecourtier who was previously the French Ambassador to Australia and then to Serbia.

The French Newspaper Le Figaro has confirmed the information that Pascal Cagni and Christophe Lecourtier were together nominated to lead Business France.
Business France is the institution that is taking care of the entrepreneur’s whishing to settle abroad. Their experts are delivering daily advices to the company following different working field and regions around the world.
The agency was born in January 2015 through a merger between UBIFRANCE and the French Agency for International Investment called InvestIn France in the past. The public institution is under the supervision of the Ministry of Economy and the French Ministry of the Foreign Affairs. Business France is also monitoring the attractiveness of the country and promoting the Business image of France.
The nomination of the Business France director is highly political. Indeed Christophe Lecourtier has previously worked for the actual French Ministry of Economy Bruno Le Maire and Chrisitine Lagarde when she was serving the Ministry of Economy before moving out to the International Monetary Fund.
Pascal Cagni, who was the vice president of Apple Europe will have to update a strategy toward the French export. Indeed the commercial trade is under a deficit and remains for France a weakness into the Economical health of the country. Note down that the deficit over the commercial trade of France was estimated to 34,4 billions euros over the last six months.
