The 2017 figures of export have just been published. A rise of 32% was registered on fruits and vegetables thanks to the Export to Russia. Explanations.
Tarek Kabil, the Ministry of Trade and Industry revealed the good overall result in Agriculture for Egypt this year particularly the export to Russia. The two countries have signed bilateral agreement each other in the industry, the energy sector, and in agriculture.
Russia is mainly buying potatoes and citrus fruit from Egypt.
In 2017, Egypt exported 4,8 million of tones of agrarian product for an overall benefit estimated at $2,2 billion.
