Egypt's external debt reached $ 108.7 billion at the end of June 2019, an increase of 17.3% ($ 16.1 billion from June 2018) according to the Egyptian Central Bank (CBE). The external debt stood at $ 92.64 billion at the end of the 2017 / 2018 fiscal year. It should be noted that the fiscal year of Egypt begins on July 1st.
