The German KfW Developement Bank gave a 50 millions euros loan to the National Bank of Egypt. The project aims to develop entrepreneurship into the Pharaoh country.

The German Bank would indeed like to develop projects around sustainable energy and green growth in Egypt. The field of activity including nuclear power plan has emerged through international institutions as World Bank MENA (Middle East and North Africa) or IMF (International Monetary Fund). Today the private sector does not hide his willingness to be part of it.

The German Bank KfW in Egypt wishes to help small and medium size companies working within the sustainable energy sector. The global project set up a funding envelope of 300 millions euros. The opportunity for Egyptian entrepreneurs promise to be huge!

Within the German Bank support, the National Bank of Egypt will have the possibility to offer loans to small and medium size companies an be more efficient with a cheaper source of investment.
