The WOT published a report in which North African countries registered a rise of 7% compared to 2016 results. In total, this is 1,32 billion dollars more earned in 2017 for Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia and Egypt.

Concerning the international arrival, this is about to 16% rise compared to the previous year for Nothern Africa compared to the worldwide rise of 6%. Reported to the country we are covering, this 671 million of tourists arrival registered.

For the organization predictions, 2018 could be the year of a 4 to 5% rise in the Mediterranean compared to the 3,5 to 4,5 % in Europe for example.

If tourism seems to come back in the Mediterranean for 2018, it is clear that those prospects cannot take into account the terrorist attack risk and the popular uprising linked to the Arab spring movement whose have a negative outlook for the touristic industry revenues.
