The Lebanese real estate market benefited from foreign investments worth 524 million dollars in 2017. No less than 1364 properties bought by investors from 58 different nationalities.

Obviously, Lebanon is a very attractive country to foreign investors interested in acquiring real estate properties. They are coming from all over the world to buy villas, luxury residences, and flats or hotels.

In 2017, no less than 1364 properties were bought by foreigners from 58 nationalities, bringing around 524 million dollars to the domestic market. According to the Real Estate Registry, these figures represent 5 % of Lebanon’s transactions total value.

Moreover, foreign companies were responsible for the purchasing of the equivalent of 82 million dollars of properties. As for the nationalities of the new owners, there’s a big surprise! We learn indeed that Syrians are in the top 5 of the investors with an outcome worth 83 million dollars. With substantial acquisitions, Saudi Arabian (109 million dollars), Kuwaiti (19 million dollars), Qatari (14 million dollars), Jordanian (13 million dollars) are also among the best partners of Lebanon.
