The owned State company Sonatrach is currently negotiating with the Iraqi Ministry of Oil, Jabbar Alluaibi. A pre-agreement has been signed on petroleum transport and exploration as well as discussions over the liquefied local gas market of Iraq. The Iraqi oil field Nassiriya was targeted by Sonatrach.
