Since May 10, Israeli forces have launched an attack on the Gaza Strip, which has resulted in the deaths of 213 Palestinians, including 61 children and 36 women, as of Tuesday, in addition to 1,442 injuries.
According to some sources operating in human rights organizations, the IDF raided houses, residential towers and media institutions, in addition to infrastructure in the Gaza Strip.
Egyptian President Al-Sisi participated this Tuesday afternoon in the French capital, Paris, in a tripartite summit at the Elysee Palace devoted to developments in the situation in the Palestinian territories, with French President Emmanuel Macron and Jordan’s King Abdullah II, who took part in the summit by video conference.
The spokesman for the Egyptian Presidency said that Al-Sisi stressed that “there is no way to end the vicious cycle of violence and the unstable situation in the Palestinian territories, other than that of a radical, just and comprehensive solution to the Palestinian question which would lead to the creation of a Palestinian state “.
“The attempts to change the demographic situation in the city of Jerusalem have had serious repercussions, these attempts must cease immediately,” said the Egyptian president.
He called in this sense to “intensify the efforts of the international community to urge Israel to stop the current escalation with Palestinian factions in the West Bank and Gaza Strip”.
And Al-Sisi added that “Egypt continues to do everything possible to stop the current escalation, by intensifying contacts with all the international parties concerned, and with the Palestinian and Israeli parties”, according to what he said. reported the spokesperson for the Egyptian Presidency.
