This agreement covers a period of 5 years and mainly concerns the major European countries providing customers wishing to know Morocco. The airline will double the number of seats to the Cherifian Kingdom.
The Moroccan National Tourist Office (ONMT) has signed a record partnership with EasyJet Group, owner of EasyJet Airlines and the tour operator EasyJet Holidays. The agreement concluded between Adel El Fakir, general manager of the ONMT and Johan Lundgren, general manager of EasyJet Group, this Wednesday, January 25 in London, provides for a real rise in power of the low-cost British airline in Morocco.
“This agreement is historic for Morocco as a destination. The airline has real expertise in the European market, our main source of tourists. This reinforces our offensive strategy on our target markets,” underlines Adel El Fakir.
The five-year agreement covers the period from the summer 2023 season to the winter 2027-2028.
At the end of these 10 seasons, EasyJet Airlines will double its seat offer to Morocco, increasing from nearly 800,000 currently to 1.6 million seats at the start of 2028. Seven markets are concerned, namely the United Kingdom, the France, Switzerland, Italy, Germany, the Netherlands and Portugal, markets where the airline has air bases.
As part of this agreement, EasyJet Airlines and the Moroccan National Tourist Office have agreed to develop several air connections to the destinations that the company already serves, namely Marrakech, Agadir, Essaouira and Tangier and to program new destinations such as Rabat. , Fez and Ouarzazate.

At the level of its tour-operating branch, Easyjet Holidays is committed to developing its customer portfolio in Morocco as of this summer.
This cooperation with the ONMT will include a large marketing and communication campaign on Moroccan tourist destinations to boost sales. Through this strengthened partnership with EasyJet Group, the ONMT continues its commercial offensive on European markets by positioning Morocco among the most attractive destinations.
