As it barely emerges from a string of stringent reforms that have put its economy back on track, Egypt has had to turn to the IMF once again to tackle covid-19. A confirmation agreement has been signed for this purpose.
The city of Marrakech will not host the annual meetings of the IMF and the World Bank until 2022. These meetings scheduled for the end of 2021, and which are held every three years in a country other than the United States, have been postponed due to of covid-19.
