Chinese exports to Egypt, for example, totaled $ 3.91 billion, up 5.1% year-over-year. While Egyptian imports fell 11.9% year-on-year, to $ 400 million.
Trade between the two countries produced a surplus of $ 3.51 billion in favor of China in the first 4 months under review.
According to data from the Chinese Ministry of Commerce, the total volume of trade between China and Egypt was $ 13.2 billion in 2019.
