The all-time record for international entries was broken earlier this month, exceeding 3.6 million tourists. The Ministry of Tourism expects that by the end of 2018, at least 4 million tourists will have visited Israel. About 485.500 tourists visited Israel in October, 14% more than last year, according to a report published on Monday by the Ministry of Tourism. The tourism industry brought in more than 2.5 billion shekels (€580 million) to the Israeli economy with 3.4 million tourists from January to October 2018, which is 15% more than in 2017.
