Turkey and the United Arab Emirates sign 13 important cooperation agreements

The Turkish and Emirati governments have signed thirteen agreements in several areas, including the defense industry, health and culture. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan is on an official visit to the United Arab Emirates, where he met with Crown Prince Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan on February 14.

The agreements signed on the sidelines of the visit of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to the Emirates cover several areas, including the defense industry, health and culture

After the official welcoming ceremony, the two leaders met in the presence of their delegations, before moving on to the ceremony of signing bilateral agreements.

The first agreement is a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the field of health and medical sciences.

The second document is the Memorandum of Understanding on Action Against Climate Change.

The third agreement is the Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in Advanced Industries and Technologies.

In the field of culture and tourism, the two countries signed the Memorandum of Understanding on cultural cooperation.

Turkish and Emirati officials also signed the Joint Ministerial Declaration to launch negotiations on a far-reaching economic partnership agreement.

Turkey and the UAE have signed the Memorandum of Understanding on Agricultural Cooperation, the Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in Land and Sea Transport, the Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation in the Field of Youth, the Memorandum of agreement on cooperation in the field of disasters and emergency management, the Memorandum of understanding on meteorological cooperation, the Memorandum of cooperation in media and communication, the Letter of intent to launch the meetings on cooperation in the field of the defense industry, and finally, the Protocol of cooperation concerning archives.
