Turkey and Sudan aim for $ 2 billion in trade

Trade volume between Turkey and Sudan can easily and quickly reach $ 2 billion, ”said General Abdulfettah Al-Burhan, Chairman of the Sovereignty Council of Sudan. Turkish Vice President Fuat Oktay and General Abdulfettah Al-Burhani met with Turkish businessmen and investors at a consultative meeting in Ankara on August 13. “The state cannot be monopolized by anyone. The state belongs to the Sudanese. In this sense, I arrived in Turkey with my ministers. They will share with you the new investment potentials that have emerged with the news reforms in Sudan, ”he announced. “I estimate that our trade volume with Turkey can quickly and easily climb above two billion dollars.

The sectors of agriculture, mining, infrastructure, transport, electricity, energy and telecommunications are sectors open to investment. We give priority to our friends and brothers. They can come and invest in Sudan. There is potential for profitable investments for both sides, “he said. -he adds.

Al-Burhani also noted the importance of Turkey to his country. “It is not just any country, it is a leading country. We want to benefit from its resources and its experiences,” he concluded.
