In the framework of its foreign trade new strategy, Algeria is removing 50 products from an 851 manufactured goods import ban list.

On the sidelines of the General Assembly of the Algerian Commerce and Industry Chamber (CACI), the government made an important announcement for Algerian importers: 50 tariff sub-headings will be removed from a list that includes 851 products.
Early this year, Algeria which is currently leading a war without mercy against budget deficit introduced a black list of almost 900 products.
This announcement comes on the heels of the last cabinet shuffle that affected former Trade minister, Mohamed Benmeradi, replaced by Said Djellab.
