    Iraq wants to fit into global trade routes between China and Europe through the “Development Road” project

    Egypt has seen its development aid greatly increased over the past three years with $13.7 billion in 2022

    In its 2023 annual report, the Egyptian Ministry for International Cooperation, which coordinates and oversees all national agencies that receive foreign funding, reports amounts that have increased sharply in recent years: 13.7 billion USD in development aid to Egypt in 2022 compared to 10.3 and 9.9 billion USD in 2021 and 2020.

    Jordan received public aid of 4.4 billion dollars in 2022, one of the most important aids compared to other countries

    The annual report published by the Ministry of Planning and International Cooperation (MoPIC) details the international aid commitments signed in 2022 for Jordan, the amount of which amounts to 4.4 billion USD in 2022. In value, the Commitments are stable compared to 2021 when they were valued at USD 4.4 billion by the MoPIC, i.e. around USD 396 per inhabitant. As a percentage of GDP, they drop from 9.7% in 2021 to 9.2% in 2022.
