As part of national nature reserves day scheduled for March 10th, Lebanon will guarantee a free access to its nature reserves in the next weekend.

Lebanese Environment Minister Tarek Khatib announced Wednesday last that nature reserves will open to the public for free during the next weekend. This praiseworthy initiative came in the framework National Nature Reserves Day, celebrated every year in the country.
Under the “Our reserves mean our life”, this campaign is aiming at promoting the natural reserves, by allowing people to discover out the biodiversity of the Land of Cedars. Lebanon houses 15 of such natural ecosystems. It is also home to several biotopes.
