Turkey and Pakistan confirm their willingness to develop axes of bilateral cooperation

Turkish Defense Minister Hulusi Akar was received on August 11 by Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan.

During the meeting, where Pakistani Defense Minister Pervez Khattak was also present, bilateral relations and regional issues were discussed.

Meanwhile, Akar said that Pakistan’s solidarity in fighting forest fires in Turkey has encouraged the Turkish people and government, and Turkey’s support for Kashmir is on every occasion expressed by President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

During the meeting, Akar also stressed the importance of strengthening military cooperation between the two countries.
