According to the 2017 annual report of Intel's operations in Israel, the company exported goods and services valued at $3,6 billion. Up from $3,3 billion last year.


Intel in Kyriat Gat (south of Israel) began activities in 1999. 

The love story continues between Intel and Israel. The Santa Clara multinational established the presence in the country back to 1974. During the past decade, Intel had exported $50 billion goods and services, and this year the annual summary shows good results. Indeed, the company exported $3,6 billion: a rise of 9% compared to the last year.

Additionally, Intel purchased $15,3 billion Mobileye last August« 2017 was an exceptional year » Yaniv Garty CEO of the Intel’s operations in Israel said. The CEO added that 2017 saw Israel turning into « global center for autonomous cars » in a statement on the 5th of February.

For the whole world, the company achieved $17.05 billion in sales, an annual growth of 4.1%. « 2017 was a record year for Intel with record fourth-quarter results driven by strong growth in our data-centric buisness» said Brian Kraznich, Intel CEO, in a statement.

As a reminder, the Intel Company is now employing 11,000 people in the local team in Israel. Additionally, Intel’s Mobileye employees is counting 1,000 agents in the territory.
